Fits how you bank today

Your treasury stays where it is. Postulate is designed to work alongside your existing banking relationships.

Postulate I.

Agents are becoming economic actors.

As agents move from recommending decisions to executing them, they begin to participate in the economy: buying, selling and committing resources on behalf of people and businesses. They need financial infrastructure designed for that responsibility.

AgentAgent

Two agents, acting for their principals. Each with defined authority to transact. The financial infrastructure connects their decisions to the movement of money.

Use cases.

Your agent can do everything except pay.

Agents can now source materials, prepare settlements and draft reorders for the business. The workflow still stops at the payment.

Handing an agent a company card gives it spending power without enterprise control. Building that control in-house means becoming a financial institution.

Postulate removes that wall, so agents can execute payments within the financial controls your business defines. The scenarios below are illustrative; teams can test them in the sandbox ahead of production.

01 / PROCUREMENT

Materials sourced.
Vendor paid.

The procurement agent finds the vendor and pays within its approved budget — no human in the loop when the mandate holds.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Postulate for?

AI agents that make business payments, from procurement to accounts payable, and the enterprises deploying them and platforms powering them.

How do we get started?

Request sandbox early access. We scope the first payment workflow with your team and test it in sandbox. Production access follows onboarding and readiness checks.

Can the model override spending rules?

No. Agents work within the controls your business sets, and can't change them.

What happens when an agent hits its limit?

The payment doesn't go ahead and your team is notified. You decide which cases come to a person for approval instead.

Why not just give the agent a company card?

A company card gives an agent spending power without enterprise control. With Postulate, every payment shows which agent made it, what for and under whose approval, with controls you can change or revoke at any time.

Who is responsible for what an agent spends?

The operator, within the limits it sets. Agents act; operators authorise.

Is Postulate a bank?

No. Postulate is building with regulated banking partners.

Do we need to move our banking?

No. Your treasury stays where it is. Postulate is designed to work alongside your existing banking relationships.

Is there a sandbox?

Yes. Early access is open to a small number of teams to test agent payment workflows with simulated funds. Production access follows onboarding.
